NC Training and Technical Assistance Center (NCTTA): Substance Use Prevention 101

The North Carolina Training and Technical Assistance Center (NCTTA) provides training and technical assistance as a no-cost service with support from the NC DHHS Division of MH/DD/SAS

Mission Statement: As a statewide agency, the North Carolina Training and Technical Assistance (NCTTA) Center provides workforce development, training, and technical assistance opportunities to substance abuse prevention stakeholders.

Vision: The North Carolina Training and Technical Assistance Center helps to establish a foundation of knowledge, specialized expertise and skill-building developing effective substance abuse prevention practices. The NCTTA supports service providers and professionals with the planning and achievement of their agency and workforce development goals.

This mandatory training is designed for North Carolina Substance Use Prevention Block Grant Programs. The event will help to support program managers and staff in their efforts to begin a formal needs assessment process in their communities.

This course provides training and professional development information for PFS 2018 Grantees provided during 2019-2020.
